Stop smart working, start working well in fashion and luxury.
It seems that a new trend is taking place in these days: fashion and luxury companies are becoming big believers in smart working.
They call it smart work but it is just "work from home" and it is an obsolescent concept and dangerous if used as a solution for cutting fixed costs.
The risk of this misleading idea of smart working is that an employee is requested to work exactly in the same way as in the office, from home.
Trouble is that not everybody has a house with a space that can be dedicated to a desk, an office chair (as requested), proper lighting and silence.
Not everybody has a nice spot to be adorned as a background nor has proper air conditioning.
Facebook has already anticipated that its employees are free to work from home but if they choose to move from the area of the HQ they might face pay cuts.
In Switzerland a court ruled for the employer to give a fixed contribution to the employee who has to set up an office space at her house.
Who pays the bills? A good wi-fi (powerful enough for a family with different needs), office furnitures, proper lights, air conditioning and heating.
Who educates managers to enhance a different mindset to favor smart work instead of just mere execution of tasks?

TV anchor Anderson Cooper welcomed son Wyatt, born via surrogate. Cooper shared an adorable photograph quoting the following: “I want to share with you some joyful news. On Monday, I became a father. This is Wyatt Cooper. He is three days old. He is named after my father, who died when I was ten. I hope I can be as good a dad as he was. My son's middle name is Morgan. It's a family name on my mom's side. I know my mom and dad liked the name morgan because I recently found a list they made 52 years ago when they were trying to think of names for me. Wyatt Morgan Cooper. My son. He was 7.2 lbs at birth, and he is sweet, and soft, and healthy and I am beyond happy.
As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son's birth.
Most of all, I am grateful to a remarkable surrogate who carried Wyatt, and watched over him lovingly, and tenderly, and gave birth to him. It is an extraordinary blessing - what she, and all surrogates give to families who cant have children. My surrogate has a beautiful family of her own, a wonderfully supportive husband, and kids, and I am incredibly thankful for all the support they have given Wyatt and me. Brad And Jen Reunion Backstage At SAG Awards 2020
Brad Pitt took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for “Once Upon a Time in … Hollywood”. Aniston won for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Drama Series for “The Morning Show.”
The two were photographed sharing a moment backstage after their win at the SAG Awards 2020.
It’s warm to see that after their divorce in 2005 the exes have remained friendly. Brad attended Aniston’s annual holiday party, as well as her 50th birthday bash in February 2019.
E! revealed that Pitt was backstage when Aniston won, and he "stopped everything" to watch Aniston speak. And he appeared captivated by her every word.
Is there hope for these two lovebirds getting back together? You never know :)

While this may be the hottest thing Prince Harry did for Meghan Markle according to Vogue, it could also be something that could predict regrets in the future. After all Edward VIII, Harry’s great, great, great grandfather abdicated the throne in order to marry his lover, Wallis Simpson, thereafter taking the title Duke of Windsor. Year later Edward VIII attempted to return. Did he feel out of place?
Today, with Harry and Meghan announcing their departure from full time royal responsibilities we ask is history repeating itself? Perhaps or Harry, who lost the loved one in the past is avoiding the inevitable.
To handle the constrainment is not an easy ordeal to face for a 38 year old full time working woman, not to mention handling the “exotic DNA” remarks made toward Markle because of her race.
It was obvious Meghan was struggling. In her last interview Markle addressed the struggles and the toxic effect on the American former actress and new mom.
Did this serve as a warning signal to Harry? It sure did.
“My deepest fear is history repeating itself. I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditized to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother, and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.”
And while the Queen maybe ok with the recent announcement, is she really ok losing the favorite royal?Probably not. But it may just be the best way out of the situation. Meghan is partly black. The media and the ignorant sections of British society could not handle this. Meghan and Harry rightly have had enough. Best way to solve this riddle is to leave which is what they are doing. Good for them.

A TV interview to air next week with Duchess Meghan of Sussex addressed their struggles and the toxic effect on the American former actress and new mom.
"Thank you for asking, because not many people will have asked if I'm OK," Meghan tells Britain's ITV anchor Tom Bradby in a documentary film, "Harry & Meghan: An African Journey," about their recently concluded 10-day tour of southern Africa.. "But it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes."
As a mother of two, I understand how hard it must be for Meghan to adjust to motherhood even while I had my loved ones there to support them. I think it’s great that Meghan decided to open up a bit and show this cruel world that she is a real person.
"Especially as a woman it's really – it's a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom and trying to be a newlywed.”
