Off-White's Virgil Abloh and Jennifer Fisher Collaborate on Earring Design

Who would have expected that Jennifer Fisher and Off-White’s Virgil Abloh will design together.

Abloh's Fall 2017 collection themed of global warming will have Jennifer Fisher's touch to it with earring designs.

Environmental harm is the inspiration behind the design. Fisher chose wire for the hoop earrings. Priced at $275 for a single earring and $535 for a pair, 14k gold with yellow-gold-plated brass or silver-plated brass with a rhodium finish.

“I wanted to express something wasteful, like the radiant heat electrical stove,” said Fisher.

Abloh's parents are from Ghana. He was raised in Chicago. He received his Masters of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology and his undergraduate in Civil Engineering at the University of Madison-Wisconsin. Abloh was the art director for the 2012 Jay-Z / Kanye West album Watch the Throne, for which he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package. He launched the Milan-based fashion label Off-White in 2014 offering high-end men's and women's collections
