A 10-year-old girl raised £ 50,000 for cancer patients by painting flowers. She is compared to Monet!

Daisies from Daisy. 10-year-old Daisy Watt, who is now nick named "little Monet", raised 50 thousand pounds for charity by painting flowers, reports Daily Mail.

Daisy started painting four years ago when her grandparents were diagnosed with cancer. The grandchild wanted to cheer them up and presented them with a picture of flowers in the garden.

Daisy’s mom invited her to draw another picture - for a charity auction to help organizations Firefly and Cancer Research, which deals with cancer patients.

Daisy agreed, and as a result, her canvas went under the hammer for 9.5 thousand pounds. The painting featured forget-me-nots, symbolizing the dead, and bright flowers that embodied those who survived.

The young artist continues to paint today and does a good deed. Buyers from all over the world admire her talent, and the girl herself, as her parents say, does not realize that she has a special skill, and just draws as she feels and sees.
