Stella McCartney and Kering part ways after 17 years of partnership. Such a bold move from Stella, who gets 100% of ownership of her eponymous brand. In a world full of designers trying to get rid of their namesake brand, Stella stands out.
She always had the perfect vision for her brand, even if when the road taken was different from the Kering one. In a group that owned Puma, Stella launched her own sports license with competitor Adidas. In a world that is going now fur free, she has always being no fur since the foundation and all her accessories are in no-leather.
Stella is the champion of women rights and she paved the way for Kering on this matter. She understands real women and her clothes are classy, unique and wearable. She has the allure of the star but she never shows it off. Great move Stella. The Force is with you.
