Bill Cunningham, legendary fashion streetstyle photographer spent decades chronicling the world of fashion. He died on Saturday in Manhattan. He was 87.
Bill turned fashion into his own game using his photography skills. His lens never escaped what people wore on the streets, not the Birkentstocks, not the fanny packs or Birkin bags.
Almost always dressed in a bright blue jacket traveling by bike with camera hanging from his neck your could never miss Cunningham during New York Fashion Week. He worked for the Times for nearly 40 years, documenting decades of trends, celebrities and oddities.
