Two Hollywood divas were booked to be faces for Calvin Klein brand: Lupita Nyong'o and Saoirse Ronan. Anne Collier directed the campaign featuring portraits of award-winning actresses alongside women they are inspired by. Eartha Kitt and Katharine Hepburn for Nyong'p and Sissy Spacek and Nina Simone for Ronan.
"The campaign is an exploration of femininity—a group of women bonded by a common thread; the desire to have the power to create their own identity, and to support and lead the way for those that come after them," Simons said in a press release. He explained that Women, which features notes of eucalyptus acorns, orange flower petals, and Alaskan cedarwood, is inspired by "freedom of expression" and "the transmission of strength and inspiration from woman to the next."
New collection presentation takes place in Venice.
