Influences from futurism and religious attire created“Genius” project by Moncler who launched its collection 1, designed by Valentino’s artistic director Pierpaolo Piccioli, on October 11. Piccioli is the latest designer to work wht Monclre creating line 1. Lines 4 and 5 were done by designers Simone Rocha and Craig Green. Piccioli’s main inspiration came from Italian Madonnas which he also applies in his work for Valentino.
Italian artist and priest, Sidival Fila, came on board to help to organize the scenography. Piccioli’s collection showed at the Scintille palace in Milan on February 20. The collection is already available for purchase in stores and online.
