Ken Downing is officialy a Halstonette. Effective August 1st senior vice president and fashion director Ken Downing begins the new role of the creative director for the house of Halston. Downing is set to oversee the evolution of Halston and serve as the public face and voice of the label.
One of the most influential American designers of the 20th century, Halston defined ’70s style with his elegant yet sexy dresses loved during disco era. Models who followed him seemingly everywhere and were dubbed the “Halstonettes.”
