LVMH founder Bernard Arnault denies contacts with Chanel owners for the acquisition of the luxury brand. But it could be a match made in heaven.

- Dolce & Gabbana conquer New York. In a weekend full of events and Alta Moda presentations the Italian duo put together stars and divas such as SJ Parker and Liza Minnelli who set the spotlight on the brand. A great example of "Italians do it better" 

Ferragamo. Rumors spread around the name of Micaela Le Divelec (former Gucci top executive) as the new CEO. Has time come to empower women in the C-suite? 

Bernard Arnault long term vision. According to WWD the luxury mogul said "size isn't everything" and that Vuitton could have no problem in doubling revenues, but he wants to keep it exclusive 

Fendi FF rocks. The brand wants to conquer the new luxury generations. But, is it putting an FF dress on rappers like Nicky Minaj and Cardi B, on celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and on Kylie Jenner walking around her daughter Stormi in a FF stroller enough to feed coolness for the brand?
