I try to be completely unnoticed when I shoot. I'm really focused on documenting fashion week ‘as it happens’ and showing what people were wearing and most importantly HOW they were wearing it. Thus I consider myself more of a photojournalist rather than a fashion or street style photographer. I try to show small details, emotions, gestures... For example if someone is running because they're late for the show, or people laughing, texting, people getting out of cars... Why do you do what you do? I really enjoy running around Paris and shooting people, figuring out the best way to get a nice shot without them noticing. Also Fashion Week is like a break from reality for me, I find it quite thrilling ! What inspires you? I'm inspired by music which I listen to when I shoot (I vibe to Travi$ Scott, Anderson Paak, Kendrick Lamar, GoldLink just to name a few...), art (by Georges Condo, Mark Rothko, Pierre Soulages), fashion designers, obviously, like Raf Simons, Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens, Errolson Hugh, Demna Gvasalia, and MANY others. I also really enjoy looking at other photographers' work. My favorite has to be Adam Katz Sinding from Le21eme. Describe your personal style. I'm usually wearing black with a slight note of color. People around me have been encouraging me to wear more color!I guess what I wear is a mix between streetwear and more tailored pieces. And sneakers. Always. Your ultimate must-have. 85mm lens. iPhone. And my girlfriend ! What superpower would you have and why? Probably being able to read people's minds. Because then I could mess with theirs... What is next for you? Moving abroad, continue to shoot for as long as I will enjoy it.
