Where were you born?
I was born in Gonesse, a town in the suburbs of Paris.
Where do you live now?
I live in Paris, in the 14th district.
In one sentence what is unique about your work?
I am totally a self-taught artist, I did not do art schools which allowed my art to not be formatted. People often have difficulty to describe the style.
Why do you do what you do?
Drawing will never be a real work. When I draw I feel joyful, peaceful, a unique wellbeing, it is almost meditative. It gives me balance and harmony and I want to share all these beautiful energies throught my artworks.
What inspires you?
Everything …fashion, beauty and its diversity, a silhouette, a style with a strong identity, colors, mother nature, the universe and astronomy in general (which I explore a lot in my paintings today), painters such as Klimt, Gauguin, Douanier Rousseau, ... Many many things actually inspire me. Inspiration is everywhere.
Describe your personal style.
I need to feel comfortable, I wear very often sneakers ... I am a woman with a very feminine style but I often wear masculine pieces (all my cardigans were purchased in men shop clothes)
Your ultimate must-have.
A pair of white sneakers and a pair of earrings.
What superpower would you have and why?
I hesitate between time travel and telekinesis!
What is next for you?
I illustrated the book "300 Reasons to love Paris" published by Les éditions de l’Homme, a funny and unique city guide written by Canadian author Judith Ritchie. It will be released in Canada on November 2nd and it will be released in France on early 2017 ... so I will participate to its launch and its promotion
I know macro trends and the connection between macro trends and fashion. Feminism and multiculturalism are one of those macro trends which I demonstrate in my art.
