Fashion is a tough business, I tell you. First Barneys New York reports of bankruptcy and now beloved fashion designer Zac Posen has announced his fashion label, House of Z is ceasing business. According to Vogue, the company is beginning the process of disposing of its assets, all the employees were let go and the current website now points to Shopify.
Zac’s House of Z dressed many iconic red carpet guests, who could forget 2019 Met Gala’s 3D dresses worn by Katie Holmes, Nina Dobrev, Jourdan Dunn, and others. Zac made big, lavish ball gowns. The richest and famous wore his dresses, he received many awards.
On Friday, the announcement came on Zac Posen’s Instagram where he thanked his entire team.
