Summer ‘15 Cover-Up Trends

When it comes to summer, I think of three things: a beach, a swimsuit, and an adorable cover up. There’s nothing quite like finding the newest way to modestly conceal my favorite swimsuits (as well as my pale white skin) for all of the moments spent outside of the water. We of course have the classics, like a good sun hat or the adorable summer dress. This year we are also seeing a lot of tunics and crocheted pieced to keep you cool and covered. And we must not forget, perhaps the most important finishing touch to any worthwhile beach outfit, the sunnies. To help guide you through the (hopefully) long, hot summer, I’ve compiled a few looks for you to try out on your vacay days.

Keep it simple with a one-piece and throw a loose-fittiing shirt over the top for a cute and quick fix.

If this doesn’t get you to want to buy a tunic, I don’t know what will.

One of my favorite trends of the summer is the palazzo pant. Throw it over any suit maybe top the outfit off with a wide-brimmed hat and you’ve got yourself an adorable beach look.

Another favorite trend: shortalls. The styling is pretty straightforward for these guys; just throw them on and go.
