New York Fashion Week Recap
New York Fashion Week has officially ended. Still can’t get enough? Here’s a closer look at four of the most featured trends strait from the runway.
Shine on: Your Las Vegas party dress just got a serious makeover. Try slinky, shiny fabrics in classic silhouttes for a fashion forward update on a cliché.
Free Spirit: Channeling your inner California girl is easy with hippie chic fashion. Choose styles with fringe, earthy palettes and plenty of denim for an outfit worthy of a spiritual awakening.
All Nighter: Wearing Pajamas in public is an absolute do this season. Opt for a silky matching set or an updated slip for a look that brings new meaning to the phrase, “I woke up like this”.
Spanish Romance: Bare shoulders, exaggerated ruffles and sultry reds. Is it hot in here? Cancel your flight. Barcelona is in your closet.

Female Empowerment at NYFW
The walls of the Venue for Diane Von Furstenberg's Fall 2016 presentation in Chelsea headquarters read, "If you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt"
Diane von Furstenberg first entered the fashion world in 1970 with a suitcase full of jersey dresses. Four years later, she created the wrap dress, which came to symbolize power and independence for an entire generation of women. She never doubted her powers. DVF is perfect example of women empowerment!
This season Karlie Kloss presented gold sequins full-length version of the wrap dress. The disco scenario reminded of "Studio 54" times Diane was so fond of back then. Models, friends and even designer herself danced to “We Are Family”. The room was full of attitude, gratitude and beautiful and confident women.
