What We Loved About Miami Swim Week #MiamiSwimWeek

Let just say we’re happy with what we saw this past week, as presentations of the latest resort collections, left us with a hankering to hit the closest beach. A change of pace from the traditional runway made the event all the more exclusive as presentations and trunk shows were spread all across different venues in beautiful Miami.
With longtime organizer IMG announcing that it would longer be a part of this year’s Miami Swim Week, PR agencies and long-time supporters banded together to make sure that the show went on without a hitch.
A few of our personal favorites came from the house of Tori Praver, whose collection provided us with a plethora of amazing cuts, and a romantic color palette. The proportions of the swimsuits were strong, yet feminine, proving that femininity doesn’t always have to be dainty.  Acacia blew it out of the water with swimwear that looked comfortable, and fresh, with subtle nautical hints.

Julian Chang made us swoon with his use of flowy fabrics, body hugging swimsuits, and his stunningly romantic lace jumpsuit.

Overall, the shows were a raging success! We can’t wait to see what is in store for Miami Swim Week next year now that IMG will be back organizing the event.
