Carolina Herrera dressed Ivanka Trump for the evening in ivory floor-length, off-the-shoulder dress with a slit, finished with a red silk faille ribbon belt.

Seems like First Lady Melania is a fan of Jackie Kennedy. Earlier in the day Melania chose to wear Ralph Lauren collectiOn's custom double-face cashmere suit in sky blue, with coordinating suede gloves, clutch and stilettos.

Let's not forget the candlelight dinner at Union Station in Washington. The First Lady wore the renowned international designer, Reem Acra, to celebrate dinner with her husband, President Donald J. Trump, and their supporters.

Acra, a native of Beirut who has also lived in Paris and Hong Kong, is known for her intricately crafted eveningwear that draws from a diverse range of influences.

Ivanka Trump stepped out in Oscar de la Renta for Thursday night’s candlelight dinner at Union Station — in a long white gown with a striking black ribbon sash at the back — a classic Oscar de la Renta touch.
