Alexander McQueen picked up the British Brand of the Year and creative director Sarah Burton dedicated to the 'amazing team' which helps her to put together beautiful catwalk collections which translate into clothes women want to wear.
American designer Ralph Lauren receieved an an Outstanding Achievement award for carving out a globally-known business dedicated to the All-American look- from jeans and tees to Oscar gownsaward from David Beckham.
Gigi Hadid received International model of the Year award. It was a sister against sister as Bella Hadid was nominated as well.
Demna Gvasalia took two awards, one for International Urban Luxury Brand, Vetements which he founded and brother Gvasalia was awarded International Ready-to-Wear designer for his reinvention of house of Balenciaga. The unexpected guest was Marilyn Manson, who presented award to his friend Demna.
Young Brits Molly Goddard, Simone Rocha and Craig Green also scooped up awards.
This year’s Fashion Awards collected funds for the British Fashion Council’s Education Foundation charity for education scholarships to help the best talent attend leading fashion colleges.
