Mr. and Mrs. Carter booked Angelika Film Center and Cafe to celebrate Jay Z's 48th birthday. The two are known for the infamous elevator theme involving Beyonce's sister Solange. She they welcomed photographers for the perfect photo op in the elevator to the ground floor.
Was this a coincidence or were the two sending a message to calm reader's drama? We'll never know, but we do know that rapper and Solange both took responsibility for what they did and ended the whole thing with "united as family".
Jay-Z addressed the scandal in his 2017 track, "Kill Jay-Z," rapping, "You egged Solange on / Knowin' all along, all you had to say you was wrong / You almost went Eric Benét."
