Edward Enninful, is the likely replacement as the editor of US Vogue.

With a recent rumor spreading quickly among fashion world that Anna Wintour could be on her way out of Condé and Vogue as artistic director, people are speculating weather Edward Eninful is the replacement.  Rumors also say Jonathan Newhouse , the chairman of Condé Nast International who has been in London running the company’s international arm — is coming back to New York. Jonathan, “doesn’t like [the amount of power] Anna has” and favors Enninful, one source tells Page Six

“There’s zero truth to the story,” the spokesperson told the Cut. Earlier today, Condé Nast also denied that Wintour was leaving the company.

Since 1988, Anna Wintour, 68, has been the editor-in-chief of Vogue and in 2013, she was given oversight over all of Condé Nast’s publications when she was named the media company’s artistic director. A Vogue — and a Condé Nast — without Wintour is not easy to imagine.

Edward Enninful is rumored to be replacing Anna. Edward was appointed editor-in-chief of Vogue UK in April 2017. Sources say that Anna will be leaving sometime in the summer, after the July wedding of her daughter's  Bee Schaffer wedding this July to Francesco Carrozzini, the son of former Italian Vogue Editor Franca Sozzani. Perhaps Anna wants to spend more time with family?
