The fashion world is mourning the loss of an icon in the fashion world, model Stella Tennant. She died suddenly on Tuesday at the age of 50. Stella McCartney posted a tribute with a sweet message,

My heart goes out to your stunning family who must be in such undeserving pain. I am speechless... Rest in peace, you inspiring woman. Stella Tennant was born in 1970 She was the granddaughter of Andrew Cavendish, 11th Duke of Devonshire and Deborah Mitford, one of the well-known aristocratic siblings the Mitford sisters, Tennant was born in Scotland and attended St Leonards School in St Andrews.
In a fashion world Tennant was known as a sultry look and aristocratic heritage. In the 90’s Lagerfeld unveiled her as the new face of Chanel, noting her resemblance to Coco Chanel.
