A BIT TOO FAR DON'T YOU THINK?
Last week news broke that Kim Kardashian had been robbed at gunpoint in her hotel during Paris Fashion Week. The criminals got away with a $4 million ring and some other undisclosed pieces of jewelry.
Kanye West stops his concert at the Meadows music festival in New York City when he finds out what happened to his wife. Kim files a report with police and leaves Paris heading back home for comfort.
Yes, it's Kim Kardashian. Yes, she flaunts her body, she shows off her riches on social media, she now knows she went too far, someone decided to share her wealth as Karl Lagerfeld noted. This human being is traumatized. Not Kim Kardashina, the brand. A person, mother, wife, sister, aunt, woman.
But only truly cold-hearted individuals out there can make fun of her after all that happened. Kim, whose trauma will most likely haunt her for the rest of her life is with her children right now, probably hugging them and not wanting them to leave her site.
As if that wasn't enough, internet decides to turn one woman's trauma into more jokes.
With Halloween around the corner, costume company is marketing a "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit," with all the trappings of a Kardashian: the big Céline-esque sunglasses, "$4 Million Dollar" ring, a black wig, and a robe that is specifically designed to be "sexy." While the costume isn't blatantly called "Kim Kardashian," it leaves little imagination as to who was the "inspiration" for this "look" — and the URL for the website to purchase the costume does mention "Kim" in its slug.
