Occupation: ActressInstagram: @dreeandreeWhere were you born?
Long Branch, New Jersey. But I'm half Belgian.
Where do you live now?
Los Angeles, CA.
In one sentence what is unique about your work?
I like to shake the expectations of how people might think I would behave or perform.
Why do you do what you do?
It's what I am called to do in life. I feel my happiest when I am performing. I've always known I would be some type of performer, be it an actor, singer or a dancer. There have been times in life where I was more drawn to one than another, but ever since I can remember I just knew that this was what I was here to do.
What inspires you?
Soulful music and dance. When someone can express their deepest pain, their purest joy through dance or song with no inhibition-- that is so inspiring. When someone is pouring their soul out through their art-- that is incredible. When I see a performance like that I get flooded with emotion and a feeling of hope, and happiness. Even the words "hope" and "happiness" don't describe how I feel when I see or hear a performance like that. It feels like I'm pulled out of this world
and am floating and flying with pure joy.
Describe your personal style.
I love timeless, chic fashion.Beautiful, structured lines and pinched waists with a very sophisticated feminine feel. I love vintage clothing as well as modern
clothing that is cut in a vintage shape. I once was at a party and a guy tried to neg me by saying "you look like a stewardess from the 60s" and I lit up and said
"thank you!" He was very confused.
Your ultimate must-have.Control Corrective Oil Free sunscreen SPF 30. I have extremely sensitive skin and
most every sunblock makes me break out or gives me an allergic reaction. The Control Corrective is the only thing that hasn't.It does not contain Parabens, Synthetic
Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, or Triclosan and it goes on smooth and transparent like a normal facial moisturizer. It's not greasy or sticky, so you can easily put
makeup over it as well.
What superpower would you have and why?
I would be invisible. You, know its funny-- a friend of mine recently asked the question "if you could choose one super power, would it be the ability to fly, or
to be invisible?" I said invisible and he was surprised because apparently everyone chooses flying. And I guess that question is designed to figure out if you are an introvert or an extrovert.I'm an introvert through and through. It does not mean that I'm inhibited or unable to talk to people-- I'm actually great in social situations. It just means that social situations drain my batteries, where as an extrovert feels charged by those same situations. So yeah, maybe if I were feeling a little tired, and needed a break, I'd become invisible and sit down for a little bit and know that no one would be like, "Is she ok? What's her problem? "Hahah!
What is next for you?
I'm the voice of Ruffnut on the television series of How to Train Your Dragon, which you can watch on Netflix, and I'm sure you'll be seeing me in lots of other
projects very soon.
