The opening of Armani / Silos in Milan

"This is a special day in my career. We're lucky that 40th anniversary of house of Armani matched with a unique event - Expo Milano.  I am very proud and delighted", designer Armani commented for Buro 24/7. He added "I decided to name museum Silos, because this building also used for food storage. Food, without a doubt is very important for life. For me food is just as important as clothing"
The reception took place at Armani / Teatro. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed exclusive "Giorgio Armani Prive" show which presented the history of the designer's  10 years of work in high fashion . Guests were dressed in gorgeous Armani.

The queen of Femininity - Diane Von Furstenberg

Latest news confirms Paolo Riva is set to become Diane von Furstenberg's new CEO.
He is the former VP Apparel and Visual Merchandising at Tory Burch.
"He completely seduced me in the way he sees me, the way he sees the brand, the way he sees the potential and the way he sees the world in disruption," Von Furstenberg told WWD of why she hired Riva. Riva worked previously for Valentino and Salvatore Ferragamo and will join DVF Team come May 18th.

Diane quoted about the success of the company, "A clear goal is key to effective leadership is if you can explain the goal to yourself first, then to your team, you will be on the path to meeting that goal"

“What is special about Diane is that she connects emotionally with women of all generations, all around the world,” said Riva. “My vision is to unlock the brand potential by offering the relevant mix of products with a unique experience for the consumer.”

Sounds like Diane found the right person for the job. Although Diane does an amazing work connecting emotionally with women of all generations through her dresses, it is time add something more exciting to products. We'll wait to see how it turns out.
