Did Anna Wintour leave Edward Enninful in tears?
Rumors are being denied but there seems to be a beef between UK Vogue editor Edward Enninful and US Anna Wintour.
It has been said that Edward, 46, was in tears when Anna, 64, sat next to the Queen at London Fashion Week and he was notably absent. Rumors are "they don't talk" but Condé Nast has strongly denied the claims, saying 'there is no truth to this'.
A fashion insider told Joliegazette: 'They don’t talk. I don’t think she ever felt he was qualified for that role. The sources say tensions date back to when Edward worked as a stylist at US Vogue under Anna. Anna, who is known as 'Nuclear Wintour'.
In the 2009 documentary The September Issue, Anna is seen reprimanding him, saying: 'Where’s the glamour? It’s Vogue, OK? Please, let’s lift it.'
A spokesperson for Anna also denied the rumors, saying that Anna was 'very proud' of Edward and 'loves having him as a colleague'.
Edward was left in 'tears' after not being told about Her Majesty's appearance at the Richard Quinn show.
A while back rumor was that Anna is to leave Vogue after her daughter's July wedding. Edward was rumored to be her replacement.
Condé Nast denies all rumors. Are the two in face in a good relationship?
